Founded in 2022, Otter & Owl Media is led by Emilie Allen, a writer, creative director, and content strategist with extensive experience in marketing and communications leadership. Emilie helps clients define their vision, explore their challenges, and find innovative solutions that result in authentic, lasting brands.

O&O offers a uniquely diverse network of independent creatives to bring a client’s vision to life. With a collaborative approach, we connect clients to the right talent, ensuring that every project reflects the values of our clients and the world they aim to impact.

Otter & Owl Media is based in the “decidedly different” Village of Saranac Lake, New York, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. At O&O, we are rooted in community and an ethic of care. Situated on the unceded traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Abenaki, we honor the caretakers of these lands and waters, acknowledging the elders who lived here before, the Indigenous peoples today, and the generations to come.
